[Bug 2000644] [NEW] switching workspaces with shortcut sometimes freezes screen
Public bug reported: The bottom panel with dots to show which workspace you are on when switching with ctrl+alt+arrow sometimes doesn't disappear and gets stuck in a half faded or not faded state. In that state the mouse appear stuck and the screen freezes until the super key is pressed to show overview or the workspace is switched again. Also affected (bug 1975647). Notably, this happened after I attempted to dual boot Debian 11 (stable, then testing). [Bug 1975647] [NEW] gnome shell extensions crashes on launch
Public bug reported: When launching the Extensions app, the icon briefly appears in the dock and immediately disappears. No log can be found. Launching "/usr/bin/gnome-extensions-app --gapplication-service" in a terminal just hangs the process, with `strace` saying that it gets stuck in `wait4(-1,`. It may have something to do with dual booting Debian testing and sharing root possibly messing up some config files, but Extensions shouldn't just crash and should at least provide some errors or log output for troubleshooting. dpkg says that the desktop file is in package "gnome-shell-extension- prefs", but launchpad says that it doesn't exist in Ubuntu. [Bug 1972127] [NEW] gnome-todo change date function is cumbersome
Public bug reported: When I change the due date to a date in another month in the "Today" view, the item immediately disappears right as I click the right arrow on the month. I have to go to scheduled, scroll all the way down, find the task in hundreds of other tasks, then change the date to the actual day. I sometimes forget to do that and miss my actual task due date. It should only update the month in the date selection UI, and not actually update until a day is selected. ** Affects: gnome-todo (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: jammy -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-todo in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1972127 Title: gnome-todo change date function is cumbersome To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-todo/+bug/1972127/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1972126] [NEW] gnome-todo can't handle deletion
Public bug reported: When I press delete, it says "Task ___ removed", yet the deleted item pops back up as a greyed out item that can not be removed. After a while, a whole bunch of horizontal lines form in the todo list, and is quite annoying.
