[Bug 1969243] Re: gdm 42.0-1ubuntu4 no longer shows Wayland option
The problem is not restricted to nVidia. As per the following reports in UbuntuForums: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2473861=14090658#post14090658 …it is universal, effecting both Intel and AMD graphics too. I worked around the bug using matthijskooijman's workaround in post 4 above. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1969243 Title: gdm 42.0-1ubuntu4 no longer shows Wayland option To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1969243/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1873407] Re: totem warns every time: "Drawing a gadget with negative dimensions. Did you forget to allocate a size? (node slider owner GtkScale)
In my case, in addition to John's GTK warning, the following error is logged in dmesg with every Totem launch: radeon_dp_aux_transfer_native: 32 callbacks suppressed And as per Janne's case, also a fresh install, but playback stutters and skips, whereas VLC is fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1873407 Title: totem warns every time: "Drawing a gadget with negative dimensions. [Bug 1077289] Re: Lubuntu 12.04 missing libpam-gnome-keyring
The fix/workaround is as follows: 1. Do: sudo apt-get install libpam-gnome-keyring 2. Logout 3. Login 4. When the pop-up for unlocking the default keyring comes up, do not simply type in the password to unlock. Instead, click details and select the automatically unlock this keyring on login radio button. Then enter your password to unlock the default keyring. You will now have linked the default keyring to the login keyring. Even if the pam module was installed, it is possible that the link was not established. In that case, the last portion of these instructions may still solve the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-keyring in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1077289 Title: Lubuntu 12.04 missing libpam-gnome-keyring To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-keyring/+bug/1077289/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
