[Bug 779799] Re: notes:// protocol no more handled

2011-06-03 Thread Emmanuel DA MOTA
i'm not sure that it is related to the upstream bug as the submitter want to
open his mail located on the Notes server inside the evolution client that's
not what i want and used to do.
The feature that is not working after the upgrade to natty is when i receive a
mail in evolution which contains a notes link, clicking to the link should open
the Notes native client and the document pointed out by the link.

i found a workaround for this, you can check
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xdg-utils/+bug/788673

[Bug 452044] [NEW] the file dialog does not display gvfs mounts or bookmarks when inserting an image in a mail or in signature editor

2009-10-15 Thread Emmanuel DA MOTA
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I want to insert an image located on the enterprise network
1 - in a new memo
2 - in my signature

the network shares are available with nautilus, they are mounted and i
have some bookmarks to specific folders

when you click the insert image button or via the insertImage... menu,
the dialog only displays local filesystems and bookmarks

As a workaround, i have to type a path like this /home/user/.gvsf/share
on srv/path/to/file in the location field

[Bug 273294] Re: Rhythmbox can not use smb:// as library location

2009-06-09 Thread Emmanuel DA MOTA
As Bastien Nocera said in Gnome Buzilla, i tried to remove
/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstgnomevfs.so

I can import a folder and listen music from a smb share.

it's a good news but what about dependencies?
