Yeah absolutely file a new bug!

Even if it feels the same it's probably not the same bug in the source

 -- Matthew Garrett <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sat, 10 Feb 2007 20:58:50 +
Could it be patch to make it work without CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED, as they
mention at the pulseaudio page?

But I guess this should be changed to a kernel bug then, since this patch
http://pulseaudio.org/attachment/ticket/51/alsa-sysfs-fix-2.6.20-rc5-updated.txt

Well I sat down with the hal 0.5.9 source and tried to figure out how it
works...

in sound_add in device.c the alsa sound properties only get added if the
device has a parent. But HAL can't find a parent for my devices like
/sys/class/sound/pcmC0D0p etc... so it doesn't register them.

Delete ipod playlists when the ipod source is deleted. Fixes #355235.

two weeks before 0.9.6.
Then this comment slipped in which affects something different.

Anyway, as long as you included the patch I'm happy! :-)

[Bug 63985] Re: [edgy] Rhythmbox 0.9.6-0ubuntu1 needs this patch to remove songs from iPods

2006-10-04 Thread Ernst Persson
What do you have from the repos?
The Rhtyhmbox-project have released version 0.9.6 which is now in ubuntu.
After 0.9.6 the Rhythmbox project has fixed a bug in their CVS. I think this
fix should be applied to the ubuntu package to.

The link is not to a debdiff but to upstream CVS diff of the bugfix, and
the cvs file-versions have nothing to do with the release version.

** Summary changed:

- [edgy] Rhythmbox 0.9.65 needs this patch to remove songs from iPods

Uncomment rhythmdb_entry_move_to_trash call that I accidentally
commented out while fixing bug 355235. Oops.

There's no upstream bug or patch since it was so trivial
Here's the diff:

The upstream bug now has an even better patch.

Will this be applied to Dapper?

Affects: epiphany (Ubuntu Dapper)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Rejected

Description:
I have auto-save session enabled in gnome.
When epiphany is saved in the session,
it crashes when I log in again.

Allways happens. I'm not sure how to get a backtrace or even printout of
that.
