OK: 1. I'm using feisty. 2. It would be great if I can directly do a beaglesearch from the fileopen-dialog. Example: I want to send someone a file via jabber/IM. The IM-application opens a filechooser. I don't know exactly where I have it so i just type in a few search terms and can select it. -- beagle search in filechooser not possible https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/122081 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 85886] gdmchooser breaks gnome-switch-user
Public bug reported: Hi, I configured GDM to show the chooser by default, so I can select the computer I want to connect to. When I connect to the local host Gnome starts and everything works fine. When I use the shutdown menu in Gnome, I'm offered the option Switch User, which does not work. It brings me back to the gnome-screensaver every time instead of starting a new GDM. I think this is a flaw per design, because, gdmchooser offers me a network connection to my local host instead of a direct X display, i think? Can it be fixed? greetings and many thanks for creating and maintaining this wonderful system! ;) ** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- gdmchooser breaks gnome-switch-user https://launchpad.net/bugs/85886 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
