[Bug 1866565] Re: Enabling the embedded terminal plugin crashes GEdit and subsequently prevents GEdit to start b/c of missing key in GSettings schema

2020-03-20 Thread Fabio Duran Verdugo
The fix has been sent at gnome repository, but I still get the issues in
Ubuntu.

You can comment the line 147 at file /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-
gnu/gedit/plugins/terminal.py and work again, meanwhile we'll wait the
next update for gedit-plugins in Ubuntu.

[Bug 721284] Re: [Upstream] file-roller unable to extract zip archives

2011-08-31 Thread Fabio Duran Verdugo
Yes I get the same error with ubuntu 11.10, but I can reproduce in
fedora with the same version (3.1.2.1fc16) for file-roller and from
GNOME git-master (3.1.90). Maybe this is a compiler problem. I think
this.

cheers.

Only if I have an pop protocol configured evolution crashes. I think
this because, I change all my account with pop protocol to one account
with imap and other account with imapx and can't get again the bug.

[Bug 494394] Re: Cannot login with gdm after upgrading to lucid

2010-01-08 Thread Fabio Duran Verdugo
Yes, I was also affect by this, but if you revise your directory
permissions with recovery mode and root user, you can see this: all in
/home/users/ user 500 and group 500 witn only read permissions,

fa...@optimusprime:/home$ ls -ll
total 36
drwx--. 106 500 500 12288 2010-01-08 15:53 fabio
drwx--. 2 root root 16384 2009-08-26 17:36 lost+found

if you change for your home chown -R user:group_user

After some time I realized this and I could solve my problem.

[Bug 197320] [NEW] Can be opened more than once

2008-03-01 Thread Fabio Duran Verdugo
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

This is a defect, because I access more than once to the application, accessing
from the panel; system gnome-screensaver
And if I do it once again opens another application again and again.

If I get 2 times 2 equals windows of the same application at the same
time

It should send a message that the application is running or simply not
allow launch the application

[Bug 197320] Re: Can be opened more than once

2008-03-01 Thread Fabio Duran Verdugo
I still think that is a defect, and I agree that should be a low priority
because it does not affect the operation of the application, but should not be
overlooked, and there are applications that are unnecessary keep open 2 times
as gnome-screensaver.
I think that it should not be possible. For a topic of usability and control to
the user of the application
