[Bug 389930] Re: grub menu does not display after cold boot on Toshiba laptops
Hi, in my desktop since I've installed karmic (and grub 2) the grub menu never show up during boot. It's automatically boot ubuntu. Luckily ubuntu is my only operating system so it's not a big deal. Today I've updated to Lucid and the grub2 menu still doesn't display, lucid boot automatically but after the new splash screen my monitor turn black and goes to power saving. The pc seem frozen and even the MagicSysrq does'nt work. I need to get the grub menu to boot ubuntu without the splashscreen option to see why my system hangs. -- grub menu does not display after cold boot on Toshiba laptops https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389930 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
