[Bug 94158] Re: [apport] nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV when having problems to access a SFTP folder

2014-04-21 Thread Filiprino
Uh. 7 years have passed and this bug is still showing up. GNOME developers
should clean up their GVFS code base because it's a wreck.
Yesterday I reported a similar bug:

[Bug 760344] Re: gvfsd-http not closing tcp connections

2013-11-08 Thread Filiprino
I upgraded to 13.10 and I still have this bug. Opened some images on
GIMP by giving to it the URL of the photos, and gvfs-http did not close
the tcp connections. They remained in CLOSE_WAIT (even after closing
GIMP) until I killed the process GVFS.

[Bug 760344] Re: gvfsd-http not closing tcp connections

2013-10-27 Thread Filiprino
The fix should be backported for 12.04 and 13.04.

Having a connection in CLOSE_WAIT is a potential security risk.

[Bug 1073363] Re: gvfsd-http memory leak

2013-01-25 Thread Filiprino
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 760344 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/760344

I'm also affected by this bug. gvfsd-http does not close TCP
connections:

gvfsd-htt 4057 filiprino 29u IPv4 2956220 0t0 TCP
aba.local:39878->barbadine.canonical.com:http (CLOSE_WAIT)

That's an example of non closed connection. If I copy images from a
webpage or whatever gvfsd-http can be used for, those connections stay
in CLOSE_WAIT state.

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 67476 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/67476

This bug still occurs. I'm on Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic, and I'm suffering it. It's
really annoying. More than one time I have accepted dialogs which I couldn't
read because I pressed ENTER after writing text in other window.
This can screw things up in a very bad way.

[Bug 58737] Can't configure network gateway IP (LiveCD & Installed). Knot 2

2006-09-12 Thread Filiprino
Public bug reported:

Go to system->administration->net->Properties of eth0 interface.
I set it up as static IP, then I write the PC's IP, network mask and gateway's
IP, click OK and close the net dialog. Then I try to connect to the Internet,
but it fails to search anything. So I return to the network configuration
dialog and I find that the gateway's IP is disappeared.
So... I can't use Internet with Edgy Eft Knot 2.
