Hi, is this bug still incomplete? What information is missing? [Bug 223075] Re: gnome main menu applet makes panel size to large
sure, I've attached the screenshot with comparison of the size and description. does that help? need anything else? but I believe the issue is reproduceable on every Ubuntu Hardy installation ... just create a new panel, set size to 17 pixel, add the gnome main menu and it will get bigger automatically. could it be that it's the ubuntu icon next to the gnome main menu that's forcing the size? because the font itself is small enough ... thanks for your help, Frank ** Attachment added: screenshot showing and describing the issue http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14020605/panel.png -- gnome main menu applet makes panel size to large https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223075 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 94048] Re: [feisty] Slow gnome application startup due to /etc/hosts misconfiguration
there is more information in this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=388765 and I some (many?) people have replied that they have the same behavior. I can not test it or provide information as I'm not on Feisty yet and it seems only to occur on Feisty. -- [feisty] Slow gnome application startup due to /etc/hosts misconfiguration https://launchpad.net/bugs/94048 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 34203] smb access almost unusable slow in Dapper compared to Breezy
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34203 Comment: I can confirm it on a wired network environment. I had the exact same environment with Breezy and no issues, nautilus on Dapper has these issues.
