[Bug 774894] Re: Evolution can't read mail from imap server after upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04

2011-05-01 Thread Fredrik Sjögren
Removing the account and recreating it does not work.

When restarting evolution without an account a setup wizard is
displayed. In this wizard text is randomly removed from the gui (labels
etc) when writing on the keyboard. Very annoying and makes it hard to
recreate an account.

They could. But I use no sent folder as it breaks up the threading and
make it harder to follow.

So sure, it's my workflow that is extra sensitive to this bug - but it's
still a big issue according to me.

I'm happy if I don't need to wait to 8.10.

I do not use the sent folder as it breaks the threads. I want all mails
in the thread to be in the same folder. I know MANY people like me.

Why shouldn't Evolution honor my BCC-settings just because it is started
from a mailto-link? What's the problem with that?

My research get me to ui/CuemiacTreeView.py:

def set_style (self, widget):

Apply the style from widget, to this cellrenderer

self.header_font_desc = widget.style.font_desc
self.header_font_desc.set_weight (pango.WEIGHT_BOLD)
self.header_font_desc.set_size (self.header_font_desc.get_size () -
pango.SCALE *2)
self.header_bg = widget.style.base [gtk.STATE_NORMAL]

The line  self.header_font_desc.set_size
(self.header_font_desc.get_size () - pango.SCALE *2) seems like the bad
one ...

[Bug 146901] Not specified (ugly and very small) font in Gutsy

2007-09-29 Thread Fredrik Sjögren
Public bug reported:

I have all fonts in my system specified to Sans och size 8.

The deskbar applet windows disregard this and use a smaller font - which I
never have specified. Is it so that the application automatically use a smaller
size of a font i have specified?
If so, that is really stupid and should be removed.

I have marked the text in the screenshot. If you cant see the image,
it's the text describing each section in the list, for example
Windows, Actions etc

[Bug 75324] Gnome file chooser/selector is way to small

2006-12-11 Thread Fredrik Sjögren
Public bug reported:

Today, many people use resolution like 1280*1024 and even 1600*1200.

Todays file selector dialog is WAY to small. It should use a
(configurable) percent of the screen height/width.

I KNOW that this is one of the reasons people think Linux is bad. Maybe
it sounds strange, but if the first thing you see is a tiny tiny file
selector and you have to scroll forever you get get pretty dissapointed
if you are used to the windows file selector. It is better then gnomes.
Time to change that ...

Yes.

It should be more like 75% of screen height and not a fixed number of
lines.

I se nog god reason why not fill more of the screen as the user has made
the choice to select a file. When you have 100+ files and dirs in a
directory (home dir for example) and you only see ~5 lines at the time
it takes to much time scrolling.
