This problem is solved, the patch is in here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Popax21/gnome- shell/-/commit/461bbcff153d7167d22bbf0e80ecbc5397d724cd However, there is no updated package on Ubuntu 20.04 to solve it. Will there be an updated package to solve this problem later? This question is very important because the current supported ModemManager-1.12.8 does not support 5G capability, and only updates to ModemManager >=1.14.0 will supports 5G.
