[Bug 94851] Re: Mahjongg: pause button disappears after resume

2007-03-22 Thread Gabriel Patiño
Thanks for your bug report.

I've tried this in edgy, and the pause button appears after resuming, but
sometimes you can see a weird effect, like if it was 'moving' from left to
right.
gnome-games version in my edgy system is 2.16.1-0ubuntu3

[Bug 94752] Re: Startup notification doesn't work when gaim is started without a window (only in the notification area).

2007-03-22 Thread Gabriel Patiño
To update your packages, you can use the update-manager application
(system/administration/update manager).

It would be helpfull to know if the program is reporting any error when
launching it. To do this, open a terminal (Applications/Accesories/Terminal)
and run gaim from inside the terminal.
If it reports any error (or even warnings) please add a comment to this bug
pasting that information.

In edgy it starts as fast as with the buddy list opened.

Are your packages up to date?

[Bug 53651] Re: Aplying filters with hotkey (Ctrl+Y) deletes filters definitions.

2006-07-21 Thread Gabriel Patiño
Well, the problems doesn't seems to be related to hot key.

The file filters.xml was corrupted, and bringing a backup solved the
problem.

How did it get corrupted?... that's the question.

Before getting this odd behavior, I deleted a folder that was used in one of
the filters.
After deleting the folder, evolution showed a message saying that it has
updated the related filters.
Maybe there's the problem, and when it tries to update filters, it corrupts the
filters.xml file.

PS: When I say corrupted xml file, I mean that the file is not correctly
endend, but don't know how to express it right. Attached is the
'corrupted' file.

[Bug 53651] Aplying filters with hotkey (Ctrl+Y) deletes filters definitions.

2006-07-21 Thread Gabriel Patiño
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Evolution 2.6.1
Ubuntu Dapper
spanish localization
english localization

There's two ways to apply filters to selected messages:

1. From the menu Message/Apply Filters
2. Pressing the asigned hot key (Ctrl+Y)

If you select some messages and use the first option, the messages are
filtered ok.

If you select some messages and use the hot key, the messages are not
filtered, and the filters definition list is cleared, resulting in the
loss of all defined filters.

I've tried using both english and spanish localization with the same
result

[Bug 43251] Re: recent documents cleared

2006-06-15 Thread Gabriel Patiño
The same happens to me since breezy.

The recent documents gets populated after you open a file from nautilus.

In a ltsp server with dapper, the list is cleared again after some time
until you open some file again. In this case I'm using a nfs mount as
home for the users.

[Bug 46345] Home folder icon not properly resized in nautilus info pane

2006-05-24 Thread Gabriel Patiño
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork

After yesterday's update of ubuntu-artwork, the icon for the home folder
showed at the info panel in nautilus does not scale properly, when using
'Human' default theme.

It seems to be a theme issue, since when using other themes this doesn't
occurs.

Maybe there some intermediate size icon missing in the last update.

[Bug 43109] netstatus-applet: Confusing colors while transmiting

2006-05-05 Thread Gabriel Patiño
Public bug reported:

Affects: gnome-netstatus (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
Binary package hint: gnome-netstatus-applet

In netstatus-applet, while using the default Human theme, tangerine
icons, the icon in the panel shows two monitors.

Ehen data is transfered, the monitors switch from showing a black screen
to a 'mini desktop' or something like that.

I think this may be somewath confusing (or not advisble) for some
people. In dapper this applet (or maybe network-monitor) used to show a
light blue screen when transmiting, which was easier to undestand.

Maybe making the monitors show a plain color (like in breezy) could
help, or using different colors for uploads and downloads, like red and
green, for example.
