[Bug 482991] Re: Brasero hangs at "Get Size" process on 64bit Ubuntu 9.1
WORK AROUND same as #7. I just ran into this. I had removed a cd by pressing the eject button on the drive. The ejected cd's icon remained on the desktop. I put my blank cd in. dragged in a few files, hit burn and got stuck on size. I clicked cancel on the requester (getting size) and then used the right click menu on the desktop to unmount the previously ejected cd. I then clicked burn again. Worked. Seems the bug would really be pressing the eject button on the drive does not unmount the cd from the filesystem. -- Brasero hangs at "Get Size" process on 64bit Ubuntu 9.1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/482991 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 174047] hal and CD recording
Public bug reported: If you follow the recommendations of powertop and do, sudo hal-disable-polling --device /dev/scd0 'hal' You wont be able to burn CDs, Nautilus says that there's a problem with the mounting options, and programs like brasero just don't detect the blank CD. If you want to rollback, you should do, sudo hal-disable-polling --enable-polling --device /dev/scd0 I dont know if this actually a bug or a feature :P ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- hal and CD recording https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174047 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
