[Bug 376793] Re: HP 2140 Lid Close Not Detected
For me lid close detection worked in 9.10 for Suspend, but did not work when I just wanted screen light to be turned off (it stayed on). No difference whether plugged or unplugged. Now, after an upgrade (not new install) to 10.04, it stopped working on my hp mini 2140 entirely. -- HP 2140 Lid Close Not Detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376793 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 376793] Re: HP 2140 Lid Close Not Detected
I am running Karmic updated from Jaunty with the latest mainstream kernel. In my case standby is initiated if I close the lid, but when on AC power, I set it to just turn of the screen, and this is not working properly: that is, the screen goes black in an almost-closed state, but then the backlight is turned on again when the screen the lid is fully closed. I just did the latest update (I think it was only two things), and get this error message now. ** Attachment added: .xsession-errors http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33437703/.xsession-errors -- gdu-notification-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in gdu_pool_get_devices() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/418300 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-disk-utility in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
