Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
My music collection is located on a device mounted via NFS. When, for
some reason, the share gets umounted and I start Rhythmbox, it starts
removing all tracks from it's database, so the collection has to be
rescanned.
Rhythmbox could check whether the collection directory e.g. matches a
mountpoint in fstab and react accordingly.
Alternative: Provide a way to manually rescan/update the collection.
50/50 Bug/Wishlist I'd say. Please correct me If my approach to hosting
my music collection on a different host than RB is running on is wrong
;-)
