[Bug 1908921] Re: No system tray detected by hp-systray

2021-03-08 Thread Hendy Irawan
I'm affected, using Ubuntu 20.04.2. Happens to CopyQ and Flameshot if
set on autostart.

Workaround as given by reporter, is WORKING!:

sudo apt install gnome-shell-extension-appindicator=33-1
sudo apt-mark hold gnome-shell-extension-appindicator

Thank you ~s-bandyo1 ! :)

[Bug 138834] Re: Bluetooth (OBEX Push) should remove devices not in range

2011-03-20 Thread Hendy Irawan
To remove Bluetooth devices manually:
--

I had to remove devices manually. The gnome applet asks hcid daemon for
known devices.

hcid database is on /var/lib/bluetooth/[YOUR-DONGLE-MAC-ADDRESS] . There are
several text files for several purposes: remove the line matching the mac
address of the old bluetooth device on each file and you're done.
I had to remove lines from the files sdp, manufacturers, features, classes,
lastused, lastseen, names.
If you don't know what mac addresses to remove, the names file can help you
because associates a mac address with a device name.
Remember: these files must be edited as root.

[Bug 150193] Re: Remote Login via XDMCP is not working

2008-05-28 Thread Hendy Irawan
LTSP is not a replacement for XDMCP.

Rather, XDMCP (I guess) is needed as part of LTSP.

XDMCP plays a much smaller role (i.e. only the X/graphics part) than
LTSP (which covers everything from routing sound to USB devices).

So it surprises me that XDMCP can't work while I can use LTSP without
problems (Gutsy-Gutsy and Hardy-Hardy). If this is indeed a GNOME bug
that is distro-independent, why LTSP+GNOME is working?

[Bug 150193] Re: Remote Login via XDMCP is not working

The strange thing is that LTSP is working fine

And LTSP uses XDMCP, GDM, and other technologies... which is more
complex setup than just XDMCP

[Bug 223841] [NEW] deskbar-applet Address Book plugin: search Evolution contacts not working

2008-04-28 Thread Hendy Irawan
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: deskbar-applet

Using Deskbar Apple + Address Book plugin enabled, searching Evolution
contacts is not working.

I can add contact-lookup-applet to Gnome panel and it works flawlessly.
So it seems to be an issue with Deskbar's Address Book plugin. (All
other Deskbar plugins seem to be fine)

Nothing is improved, same issue. Using plain face browser for remote logins,
doesn't work.
