[Bug 192508] Re: mouse keys too easy to accidently turn on
In saucy the combination is Alt + LShift + NumLock. The problem is that it is not listed in Settings Keyboard Shortcuts Universal Access. It's also difficult to find Settings Universal Access Pointing and Clicking Mouse Keys (Control the pointer using the keypad) to go back to normal behavior after using the combination by mistake. In fact it was easier for me to find org/gnome/desktop/a11y/keyboard/mousekeys-enable=true using dconf dump / (this is a paradox about accessibility! ) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192508 Title: mouse keys too easy to accidently turn on To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-control-center/+bug/192508/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 588155] Re: randomly gnome-settings-daemon fails to start
i have encountered this trouble too. However it doesn't occur at each boot. Dist : Ubuntu 10.04 x64 GPU : nvidia 8600GT with driver of serie 256 (from x-swat-x-updates ppa) GDM : autostartup (without delay) I tried to got the debug output doing the modification of the attached patch, but the trouble doesn't appears doing this (at least for the 5 tries I made since this). Maybe others will success in doing this. My idea is that there is a race condition between dbus and g-s-d that prevent g-s-d to start if dbus isn't totally ready, but I can't prove it, and I don't now how to log the startup of dbus and g-s-d. ** Patch added: autostart gnome-settings-daemon.desktop http://launchpadlibrarian.net/53294665/gnome-settings-daemon.desktop.diff -- randomly gnome-settings-daemon fails to start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 588155] Re: randomly gnome-settings-daemon fails to start
Some precisions: - if g-s-d still doesn't start after applying the modification I added, errors will be traced in ~/.xsession-errors file. - if g-s-d start after applying the modification I added, I think this is because the computation of log(s output take some time and 'slow down the startup of g-s-d. [Bug 413168] Re: Karmic upgrade not shutting off backlight after time
If this issue is fixed, maybe SabreWolfy, Miloš Lazić and I should open an other bug that may be an other issue. I've got a computer with Intel GMA945 where I don't encountered this issue, and the other with Intel 845G where I encountered this issue. The second one was upgraded from jaunty whether the first one was a fresh install of karmic at alpha 5 stage. -- Karmic upgrade not shutting off backlight after time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/413168 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Re: [Bug 398008] Re: awn uses 100% cpu with gtk+ 2.17.3 (csw)
However (but I should search if there is an other existing bug for that) there is a with compiz when preview's thumbnail plugin is activated : when it should draw the thumbnail compiz crash. This is true with both awn packages (from Julien's ppa and universe repository). Offhand, this doesn't look like it's relevant to this bug (or to Awn, for that matter).
