Actually, this may or may not be the same error. I'm definitely having the problem with the Rhythmbox reverting back to the default folder, but I'm not sure that is the source of the other errors. If I doubleclick the entry it will say "Waiting" because it is going out and re-fetching the file, even though it has already been downloaded. It simply doesn't realize it has been downloaded since it has now been restarted and jumped back to the default folder. I have the same problem. I just discovered that I can't play podcasts I have already downloaded after closing and reopening Rhythmbox because it is defaulting to /home/homefolder/. If I try to play them (without doubleclicking to redownload them) it gives the error: "Couldn't start playback Problem occurred without error being set. This is a bug in Rhythmbox or GStreamer." or a null error. The file isn't found because the podcast folder keeps resetting itself. Aaaarghh! This is a dealbreaker for rhythmbox. I set my podcasts to a shared folder where I use a chron task to keep it world-readable, since there is no use to everyone who uses the computer having to download the same, large mp3 files to their personal folders.
