[Bug 46801] Re: Bad close icon
That would require patching a bunch of apps. Plus, Firefox 2.0 will have close buttons per tab (to be more like every other tabbed interface, and less oops-prone), so we'd be going backwards. -- Bad close icon https://launchpad.net/bugs/46801 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 35380] Human theme should suggest a background
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35380 Comment: This upstream feature is intended to be used sparingly, for themes that have special requirements, such as accessibility themes. I wouldn't recommend that we do this for the default Ubuntu theme. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 34896] Tango orange icons might not be HIG compliant
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34896 Comment: The GNOME HIG recommendations regarding icons have largely been obsoleted by the Tango guidelines. We should aim to complement the Tango guidelines with specific branding guidelines for our own thin layer on top of the Tango theme (which can extend to recolourisation, ala Tangerine). -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 34088] [PATCH] Logo in Logout Dialog
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34088 Comment: Sorry, I don't think this is necessary or desireable at all, for a few reasons: * over-branding is dangerous, we don't want to make our software look like a sponsored racing car with stickers all over - it is just ugly and intrusive * images that include text cannot be easily translated * simple is better - the current logout dialogue is busy enough as it is with all the buttons and images, we don't want to make it busier -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
