[Bug 1307163] Re: not work gnome-screensaver-command -d
I have the same issue with my blueproximity unlock script as it issues the same gnome-screensaver-commands. After upgrading to 14.04 the unlock script broke, while the lock script still works. I think the point here is that "gnome-screensaver-command -d" isn't functioning while "gnome-screensaver-command -l" and "gnome-screensaver- command -a" are. The component is still installed in trusty and now is half working. If its not used it should be removed or if its left it should work. From an end user prospective this doesn't seem to make sense to have a partially functioning ap; it looks as though its gnome- screensaver-command half working to those not aware of the lock screen change in Trusty. I'm not sure whats broken or where to file it if not here? Should this bug be filed as a bug against the new lockscreen instead of gnome- screen-saver for not unlocking when gnome-screensaver-command requests? Or is the issue with gnome-screensaver for not issuing the correct unlock request for the new lockscreen? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1307163 Title: not work gnome-screensaver-command -d To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/1307163/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1175582] Re: Empathy not displaying any online contacts
I should also add that as a workaround removing the account from the account manager and adding it back again will cause the contacts to show again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1175582 Title: Empathy not displaying any online contacts To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/1175582/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1175582] Re: Empathy not displaying any online contacts
This issue only started recently (in June 2013) for me. Previous to that it was working properly when it connected or showing a message saying an online account needs you attention when it wasn't connected. Now it appears connected but doesn't show any contacts (even with offline contacts set to visible). Twice I have discovered this issue shortly after telepathy-gabble crash messages so there may be a correlation there.
