I am using "karmic": You are using Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala - released in October 2009 and supported until April 2011. This bug affects me. I don't understand the post above, "the issue would be low priority for a backport there since users who follow 6 month cycles are expected to run karmic now" unless it means that there is no reason to fix earlier versions (let them who don't upgrade eat cake). If it means that, yikes. It is cold.
