Re: [Bug 614547] Re: Terminal Background Color Settings Changing

2010-08-10 Thread KE1HA
Hi Pedro,

I will check it again, but it repeated several times during the test. I think I
have since updated to new ISO, in fact I'm sure I have. So I will retest and
see
if it happens still.

Greg.

Thanks for the report, are you still able to reproduce this issue? Looks
fine here with Maverick as well.

Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-utils

VirtualBox OSE: Maverick A3 ISO-testing / Application Testing.

Affected packages: gnome-terminal
Preferences
Case ID: ter-002

   1. Open Applications->Accessories->Terminal
   2. Click on Edit, select Profiles, select Edit and select colors.
   3. Modify the colors to a different set and be sure it happens in the
terminal window.
   4. Set a Background Image and be sure it appears in the terminal.
   5. Change the Zoom Level.
   6. Close Terminal

After Action-2: Changing the default colors scheme to "Black on Light Yellow",
the terminal changes as it should. upon closing, & re-opening the terminal, the
background color changes to "Light Grey with Black Letters". I repeated the
test
3-times, same result each time. Changing the Background-Image works as expected
as does the Zoom function.

Re: [Bug 615256] Re: Account Type Scroll Fails To Return

2010-08-10 Thread KE1HA
Hi Omar,

I was using VBOX and had the entire desktop rather small, and with the
application open, under Enter Your Account Details >> What Type of Account do
you have: (Gmail, yahoo, Facebook, etc).

When the Pull-Down list opened, I needed to cursor down to Yahoo, as that was
the type of account I was setting up. After scrolling down to the bottom of the
list, The Up-Arrow that allows me to cursor back up disappeared. Only way to
get
back to the top of the list was to close the Enter Your Account Details, and go
back into Create a New Account.

It's not something allot people are going to have trouble with, as usually they
will have a large enough screen to where the Up/Down arrows wont even appear
when your selecting the account type.

Greg.

Test Document Information:
Basic Account Creation
Case ID: emp-001

   1. Open empathy either from the Envelope on the task bar or from
Applications->Internet->Empathy.
   2. On initial start up you are presented with the basic account creator.
This
can only be be used to
create accounts that only use username and password.
   3. Select one of the account types, most common of these are msn, gmail and
jabber.
   4. Once selected type in your username and password for the account.
   5. You can go on to create extra accounts at this point or close the account
creator.

Action-3 Failed: During a new account creation, after I scrolled down to the
bottom of available account types, I was unable to scroll back to the top.
Canceling out allowed me to re-select the account types listed toward the top.
This is only a problem is if the window size is such that the scroll is
actually
enabled.

All Other Account Creations Tests Passed.
