[Bug 1092900] [NEW] Gnome disk utility doesnt show usb HDD has SMART enabled
Public bug reported: In terminal it wasnt enabled but it was supported. I enabled it in 12.04 ubuntu in terminal. In 10.04 in terminal it shows its enabled but see screenshot in Disk utility it doesnt show SMART. PS. I formated using Disk utility using : Dont partition and in fdisk -l it doesnt show any partitions. In DISK UTILITY Formated using: Dont partition and & FORMAT VOLUME to FAT (not possible to NTFS) In windows 7 i plugged it in and it doesnt show up. In windows 7 in control panel i open Administration- Computer Management In there Disk management. I see there is my external USB HDD but it has option only to Format Volume.
