[Bug 106060] Re: [r128 1002:5446] Selecting the Molecule screensaver makes the PC freeze. It is completely unresponsive.
Screensaver Molecule freezes computer. I found my solution. Go into root by $ sudo -i, give password, and then at root# rm /usr/lib/xscreensaver/molecule, and then root# rm /usr/share/xscreensaver/config/molecule.xml, and then remove from the gnome-screensaver # rm /usr/lib/gnome-screensaver/molecule. I went and uninstalled the entire package gnome-screensaver and this removed the settings at menu System | Preferences | Screensaver. So had to install the gnome-screensaver package again, and the download did not have those screensavers listed. I used the Synaptic Package Manager listed in menu System, and also did a backup. I'm no expert, but are you sure these e-mail programs are designed for storing 100 000 mails? I can recommend archiving e-mails now and then with Hypermail. Hei! As far as I know this is no bug, but it's supposed to be like that. Just enable the function that the trash is emptied regularly. [Bug 188234] [NEW] Totem player was playing movie in black and white.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem Put in DVD and it started playing in black and white, which was fine because it was a black and white video. Next time put in color video and it still played in black and white. We fixed it by going to edit preferences/display/ and increasing saturation level. I did this both on Totem and Xine. Problem may have been caused because original DVD was black and white.
