[Bug 1409032] [NEW] gvfsd-smb: very high CPU utilisation
Public bug reported: Example: I use Virtualbox and mount a .vdi on an SMB server. Using gvfsd-smb (browsing within Gnome to find the share), gvfsd-smb uses up to 50% CPU which slows down the entire system when accessing the network share. The image I was trying to export was located in /tmp and files are created and destroyed in /tmp all the time. The changing file list seems to cause Gimp to crash at this point. Changing the current folder to ~/ does not crash (there are no changing files). $ gimp Screenshot.png ** Gtk:ERROR:/build/buildd/gtk+2.0-2.20.1/gtk/gtkfilesystemmodel.c:746:gtk_file_system_model_sort: assertion failed: (r == n_visible_rows) gimp: terminated: Aborted (script-fu:18422): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: script-fu: gimp_wire_read(): error At the time I was compiling using ccache distcc gcc so the files in /tmp were changing regularly. [Bug 592838] [NEW] Cannot click on status URLs in Empathy
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy Contacts (in AIM for example) can add URLs to their statuses and Empathy will create a clickable link when hovering over the username. [Bug 550082] Re: metacity in not starting on login
I can confirm that removing ~/.local/share/applications/metacity.desktop fixes the problem. Although other accounts on the same computer never had this problem in the first place. -- metacity in not starting on login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550082 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
