[Bug 1976131] [NEW] automatic timezone updates to wrong timezone
Public bug reported: This is to mark a bug that I've reported upstream at: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/1874 I am using GNOME 42.1 on Ubuntu 22.04. I leave the "Automatic Time Zone" on. When traveling last week to San Diego, with a layover in Seattle, I noticed that my timezone updated, but to the wrong timezone (MDT). I then got back on the plane and arrived in San Diego. This time the timezone updated to PTD as it should. I am now back in Seattle and the timezone has now updated from the correct zone PTD to the wrong one MDT. This is in both list and icon view. It was working before I updated to 22.04 from 21.10. [Bug 1958012] [NEW] text in italics appears as boxes

An update to my system has broken italics support in gnome terminal. This makes
it hard to edit latex files with VIM, since VIM will show all text within
\emph{} as boxes.
If I type the following command at the prompt
=> echo -e "\e[3mfoo\e[23m"
I get three empty boxes where the letters "foo" should be. See the
attached screenshot.

Public bug reported: Running 21.10 and Gnome 40.4 the screen recording no longer works with the Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R keystroke. A .webm file does appear in the Videos folder but it is empty. The orange circle does appear in the upper corner, but it will not go away. Further Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R strokes do not make a new .webm file or remove the orange circle.
