[Bug 207072] Re: nautilus does not display samba shares for machines inside an ADS network.

2009-02-16 Thread Laubstein
Today I received the updates to gvfs (1.0.2-0ubuntu2) and, finally, now
I can browse the shares \o/ (nearly 1 year later).

Thanks all the patcher's!

[Bug 207072] Re: nautilus does not display samba shares for machines inside an ADS network.

2008-06-20 Thread Laubstein
Wow!
I applied the proposed patch last week and all are working fine... but, if I
reproduce Jakob case (bookmark a unreachable machine) all Gnome freezes
(startup, open dialogs, etc).

This problem is like windows machines with shortcuts to unreachable
machine or mapped drivers.

When I back to 0.2.4-0ubuntu1 this problem disappears, but I back to
share display problem. =(

Pedro, I don't think that bug is a dup from #209520.
#209520 says:
Whenever I make a connection to the Window share, I got this error dialog:

Unable to mount location
Failed to mount Windows share

With and OK button.

I just see that message if I try to access a inexistent share.

Same problem from chifamba.

I have a WinXP machine named testserver with 3 shared folders:
Shared, Applications, DEMOS.

Using Nautilus:

I type: smb://testserver and I receive a blank screen. If I type
smb://testserver/DEMOS, the authentication window appears and I can access
the shared folder.

Using Terminal: (that works)
