Mikhail, that is... odd at least :) Lately I found a workaround for Evo password issue, go to: Edit>Preferences>Email Accounts>choose your EWS account>click Edit>Receive Options> set "Check new email every ... minutes" to some short time. I have changed it from default to two minutes, and that helped.
