Hi Pedro, Thanks for replaying. I forgot about this problem... sorry. I noticed the problem was also with other players, so I tried changing values on the system audio settings. At the end I hit a solution: I had to define my audio output as a 4.1 output for it to work... So it has nothing to do with rhythmbox. The bug can be closed. With mp3 files located on a cifs (samba) share. - In that case when playing from local disc it's OK. + In that case when playing from local disc it's better (but still + shutters sometimes). The speed reading from the network is good. To test it I copied 100Mg in 7Sg. Remounting the remote share did not solve the issue.
