[Bug 296867] Re: empathy needs to support OTR encryption
"One of the advantages of tools like Empathy is the ability to support a multi-service situation. It allows me to run a single app, and connect to any service I need." So does pidgin. And it supports OTR. -- empathy needs to support OTR encryption https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/296867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 529092] [NEW] System Monitor should display disk I/O
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor System Monitor graphs CPU, RAM, and Network utilization, but its File Systems tab only shows space used, not I/O (requests/sec, KB/sec, etc). Please make it so System Monitor will display Disk I/O (blocks/KB read/written per device) in realtime alongside other stats in the Resources tab. [Bug 123601] Re: Gnome sound settings aren't connected and have no effect on Alsa
I've disabled pulseaudio because it has huge problems working with VirtualBox and gone back to ALSA. Is there an applet equivalent in the Karmic repos to provide volume control using ALSA? I'm currently using gnome-alsamixer but it's big and bulky. I do hope PulseAudio will actually work properly with all apps someday, as it's usually better than aRTs, but having choppy audio in VirtualBox is a showstopper for me. -- Gnome sound settings aren't connected and have no effect on Alsa https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123601 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 369498] Re: Errors when running acroread in 9.04 (fully updated)
just installed the -j packages and all seems OK (get youtube, flash audio playback now) even though I still get the following displayed when I run from shell: (npviewer.bin:29816): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x423 unexpectedly destroyed The program 'npviewer.bin' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. (Details: serial 256 error_code 3 request_code 18 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) *** NSPlugin Wrapper *** ERROR: NPP_Destroy() invoke: Broken pipe *** NSPlugin Wrapper *** ERROR: NPObject 0x28d8060 is no longer valid!
