[Bug 357633] [NEW] Unable to send an S/MIME encrypted message to alternative address to a person who own a certificate with multiple emails

2009-04-08 Thread Mathieu Alorent
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Please describe the problem:
I have a contact whom holds a s/MIME certificate with multiple emails.

I can send him encrypted messages only to his last listed address in his
"subject" certificate's.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Receive/generate a contact certificate with multiple registered emails
2. Try sending an S/MIME encrypted message to alternative address

Actual results:
I got this message :
Could not create message
Because "Cannot find certificate for 'u...@foo.bar'", you may need to select
different mail options.

Expected results:
Evolution should find that I actually have a client certificate that contains
the e-mail address and encrypt the message.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, every time I try to send an encrypted mail to an "alternative" address of
a Client certificate.

Other information:
The field value of incriminated contact certificate subject field contains:
E = a...@abc.abc
E = u...@foo.bar
E = x...@yyy.zzz
CN = Test User

Here, I can send email to x...@yyy.zzz, but others does not.

[Bug 144046] [gnome-appearance-properties] Desktop Effect, normal mode does nothing

2007-09-22 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

The desktop normal effects option reset my config to no plugins
And the extra effects reset to ring,blur,wobbly only

step to reproduce
1. Set the desktop effects to "No effects"
2. I set a list of active plugins : gconftool --set
/apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins -t string
"[ccp,dbus,place,move,resize,decoration,png,svg,imgjpeg,text,neg,video,wall,snap,fade,animation,scale,expo,switcher,regex,resizeinfo,workarounds,ezoom,vpswitch,extrawm,ring,blur,wobbly]"
3. Activate "Normal Effects", choose "keep settings"
4. check what is done : gconftool --get
/apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins (actually I get "[]" :
noplugins)
5. Set Desktop effects to "Extra effects"
6. check what is done : gconftool --get
/apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins (actually I get
"[ring,blur,wobbly]")

I think that activate "Normal Effects" should set some plugins

2007-01-03 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Public bug reported:

Hi,

When I use nautilus to send a file by mail, I get only the contacts from
my first configured addressBook..

1. Create 2 or more addressBook in evolution
2. Add in each of them a contact (with the same 3 first letters on the name for
later facility..)
3. Configure Evolution to use the 3 addressBook (Edit -> Preferences ->
Autocompletion, mark the 3 addressBook)
4. Choose a file anywhere, "right clic -> Send to"
5. Write the 3 first letters of the contacts (created on point 2).

Actual result :
only the contact from the first addressbook is shown

Expected result :
The 3 contacts (from point 2) should be shown

Mathieu

[Bug 67685] outgoing filter on a group

2006-10-22 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Public bug reported:

hi,

someone ask me to have an outgoing filter based on a group of contact in
order to  sort her messages.

We have managed to do someting like this :

1. create a new contact list
2. create an outgoing filter rule
2.1. recipient = group name of contacts
2.2. move to a specified folder
...etc...

this doesn't works as we don't know how to do point 2.1.

as a workaround, we could add each user of the group to the filter rule,
but each time you add a new email address to the contact group, you
should remember to add it to the filter

I hope that you will understand what I want to say

[Bug 67683] Re: ask for mail delivery notification on each outgoing mail

2006-10-23 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Hi,

in my company, most users only send internal mail for which they need to
know if the recipient has read it.

Since we have moved to ubuntu (and use evolution as primary mail
client), they regret that functionnality (that was/is present in
thunderbird).

We prefer using Evolution for mail/calendar and because it's better
integration to Gnome (like right click on a file, "send to...", "send as
: email (evolution)" <= as thunderbird is installed, it's not present in
the list (should I report a bug for this ?))

Public bug reported:

Hi,

I've found on dapper that if I try to change the current password of one user
by a generated one using users-admin, the new password is not saved.
If I use the first option and choose myself a password, it is saved...

Step to reproduce :

1. start users-admin (Système -> administration -> users & groups)
2. edit one user
3. select the "generate random password" (write it on a sheet of paper)
4. save & quit
5. open a terminal

E = a...@abc.abc
E = u...@foo.bar
E = x...@yyy.zzz
CN = Test User

Here, I can send email to x...@yyy.zzz, but others does not.

I would like to have a column where I can see the priority "very
hi/hi/normal/low/very low" like Thunderbird.

I've found on dapper that if I try to change the current password of one user

If I use the first option and choose myself a password, it is saved...

Step to reproduce :

1. start users-admin (Système -> administration -> users & groups)
2. edit one user
3. select the "generate random password" (write it on a sheet of paper)
4. save & quit
5. open a terminal

E = a...@abc.abc
E = u...@foo.bar
E = x...@yyy.zzz
CN = Test User

Here, I can send email to x...@yyy.zzz, but others does not.

[Bug 53425] No error msg when overwritting a vcard on a file with no write access

2006-07-19 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Public bug reported:

Hi,

When saving/overwrite a vcard, Evolution doesn't tell that me that I
have no write access on the file and do as if it was OK...

Step to reproduce :

1. open evolution with address book mode
2. right clic on an card and choose "save as"
3. save it on the desktop for exemple
4. right clic -> properties on this file on the desktop
5. remove my write access
6. in evolution try to save another card over the already saved file
7. It seem to be OK, but look inside the file, the content is the first saved
card...

2006-08-10 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Public bug reported:

hi,

I found that the import command from "Fichier -> Importer..." menu isn't
all translated.

"Appointments and Meetings" and "Task" should be translated...

Evolution Version : 2.6.1

1. open evolution, switch to "Taches" (Tasks) mode
2. create a task
3. right clic on it then "Enregistrer sous..." (Save as...)
4. In the "fichier" (file) menu choose "importer..." (import...)
5. clic "Avnacer" -> "importer un seul fichier" -> Avancer -> parcourir
and select the saved file.
6. choose the file type "Fichier VCalendar (.vcf)" -> Avancer
7. The problem is here !

2006-09-15 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Yes, I've just restarted, and all my test are present now !!! (I should
delete about 30 cards now :) )

A confirmation message, or disable the "add to address book" button
would be a good feature...

[Bug 67676] hi-score in gtali should take the name of the winner, not the connected username

2006-10-22 Thread Mathieu ALORENT
Public bug reported:

Hi,

in gTali, it would be cool if it takes the name of (the human) winner
(configured in preferences) to put it in hi-score.

Actualy, it takes the name of the connected user. It's not very usefull if you
play at 2 (human) players... As it's always the same name that is recorded.

2006-10-22 Thread Mathieu ALORENT

hi,

how it is possible to have evolution asking for mail delivery
notification on each outgoing mail ?

I've found the option to add it manually on each message, but it woul'd
