[Bug 112955] Re: vino (vnc) keyboard mapping problem

2007-07-27 Thread Matthew Buckett
Just tried the proposed update on feisty
(pool/main/v/vino/vino_2.18.1-0ubuntu1.1_i386.deb), restarted my X
session and I still see problems with keyboard mappings (I'm using en_GB
keyboard on both machines).

[Bug 42825] Re: [Dapper] Inspecting the printer properties takes too much time

2007-04-04 Thread Matthew Buckett
I believe the delay in displaying the properties is related to the amount of
time it takes to build the list of available drivers as the delay is the same
as when adding a new printer?
Would it be possible to cache the driver list so that this delay disappears of
at least display the same dialog box when bringing up the printer properties as
when adding a new printer so that the user doesn't think the click was ignored
or the program has crashed.

[Bug 50439] Re: Gaim Crash after connect.

2006-06-21 Thread Matthew Buckett
gaim -n works for being able to remove the rhythmbox plugin, thanks.

I had the plugin set to update my away message and had %rb as my away
message.

Whatever configuration I have it shouldn't segfault like this, should
it?

[Bug 34233] Re: g-p-m failing to use DPMS to power off display

2006-04-08 Thread Matthew Buckett
I am seeing the same bug and I don't have gnome-screensaver running. I have set
the display to go to sleep after 1 minute but it never does. Looking at the
xset values they are all at 0:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ xset q | grep -A3 ^DPMS
DPMS (Energy Star):
  Standby: 0Suspend: 0Off: 0
  DPMS is Enabled
  Monitor is On

Does gnome-power-manager set the values queried by xset?

[Bug 34233] Re: g-p-m failing to use DPMS to power off display

2006-04-08 Thread Matthew Buckett
If you need to have gnome-screensaver running shouldn't g-p-m check to see that
it's running?

With gnome-screensaver running my monitor still doesn't enter standy although
the screensaver now starts.

[Bug 34116] nautilus opens a lot of connections using samba

2006-03-19 Thread Matthew Buckett
Public bug report changed:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34116

Comment:
Forgot to mention that using gnomevfs-ls also opens one connection per
file so it doesn't seem that this bug is specific to nautilus but to the
gnomevfs code.
