[Bug 117297] Re: nautilus file rename
Hey Guys, i found out that this problems only occurs on the fat32 drives but not on ext3 , i don't know a lot about this but most probably it's something in functions that deal with windows file format -- nautilus file rename https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/117297 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 117297] Re: nautilus file rename
i have a similar bug, the difference is that i can't rename a folder to the same name but different character status ( capital / small ) for example: say i wanna rename a folder named "Michael" to "michael" it gives the same error ["The name "michael" is already use in this folder. Please, use a different name"] i recall that i used to do this before but i don't remember before which update ! i even tried to rename the folder twice [ "Michael" --> "Michael2" --> "michael" ] , fortunately there was no errors but i found two folders "Michael" and "michael" and when when i refreshed only "Michael" was there. i hope it gets fixed because it's really annoying -- nautilus file rename https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/117297 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
