[Bug 1347437] Re: evolution crash on startup
I added ppa:fta/gnome3 on my Ubuntu 14.04.2, but in synaptic there is still only evolution 3.10.2-0ubuntu2 which has this bug apparently - what to do now?? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1347437 Title: evolution crash on startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1347437/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 838792] Re: "Restart" logs out, even when there are no other people logged in
+1 for #24 and #52 this solved the issue for me while leaving auto-login enabled Did not tried to disable auto-login, so I don't know whether it would have solved it as well. But I doubt it, because for me, "freevo" was the culprit. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/838792 Title: "Restart" logs out, even when there are no other people logged in To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-session/+bug/838792/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1021183] Re: after some time when evolution runs in a wild loop of fetching messages and removing messages from cache
Today I catched Evolution at a stage where it seems to be in an earlier stage of looping. For this situation _it seems_ that it got trapped at fetching informations of emails from the draft folder again and again and again. Clearing the draft folder via the other clients and restarting Evolution solved this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1021183 Title: after some time when evolution runs in a wild loop of fetching messages and removing messages from cache To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/1021183/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1021183] Re: after some time when evolution runs in a wild loop of fetching messages and removing messages from cache
This bug affects me as well. I did not encounter locks of the ldap account though. But the hyper-activity of Evolution leads to maximum i/o usage which sooner or later blocks the whole system. It is really hard to close Evolution then, because even the mouse pointer needs minutes to move ... It takes approx. 3-4 hours until this behaviour occurs. [Bug 950160] Re: Unity blocks other programs from binding globally to Super+* or Alt+* (* = any key)
Binding Super via gnome-control-center does not work, but using Compiz' commands plugin does work! This is on a machine using Gnome Classic Mode with Compiz Unity Plugin disabled (I am unsure whether this combination is handled in this bug report therefore I wrote this on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control- center/+bug/994346 as well) Unsure how this behaviour now occurs has to do something with Compiz I assume. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/950160 Title: Unity blocks other programs from binding globally to Super+* or Alt+* (* = any key) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/950160/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 510059] Re: Gvfs keeps asking for password when trying to mount Samba share
Hi guys, for me only this line helped: client ntlmv2 auth = no The SMB server I am accessing is an old NAS which don't support NTLMv2. We had the same issues on all Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 machines when trying to access the NAS, because the next gen windows systems have NTLMv1 disabled by default. So the problem seems to be that gvfs in Ubuntu 12.04 does not try other authentication mechanisms if NTLMv2 is enabled!? For now this workaround to disable NTLMv2 is no problem, because of the lack of any important NTLMv2 share. But gvfs has to support access to heterogenous samba network environments! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/510059 Title: Gvfs keeps asking for password when trying to mount Samba share To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gvfs/+bug/510059/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
