[Bug 75032] Re: Not able to produce borderless prints
Following more research I concluded that the problem was probably caused by Gutenprint which which is a beta version in 6.06.1. Difficulty has been resolved by changing to 6.10 -- Not able to produce borderless prints https://launchpad.net/bugs/75032 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 75032] Not able to produce borderless prints
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp When attempting to produce a borderless print the result is a print which is borderless top and sides but has a white stripe about 2mm wide at the bottom. This has just happened when I set up a new box with Ubuntu 6.06.1. The image no longer fits neatly into the paper outline in the preview panel on the print window, the overhang being most noticable at the bottom of the image. Although both the version of Gimp on the old box and the new box are the same, 2.2.11, the print windows are different. ** Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Not able to produce borderless prints https://launchpad.net/bugs/75032 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
