[Bug 1059767] Re: Empathy wrong background color selection in kubuntu
I have reported the bug according to the description here: https://wiki.kubuntu.org/Kubuntu/Bugs/Reporting#Filing_bugs_at_Launchpad.net So kubuntu related bugs are reported side by side to plain ubuntu bugs. Please RTFM before you shout ! But as I have reported a problem with empathy, I don't think it is a kubuntu related bug itself but with empathy. ** Changed in: empathy (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1059767 Title: Empathy wrong background color selection in kubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/1059767/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1059767] [NEW] Empathy wrong background color selection in kubuntu
Public bug reported: I am using empathy in kubuntu 12.04. When selecting text in empathy, either in the history or at the input, the text color is switched to white, but the background color stays also white. So you'll end up with white text color at white background. The text is marked correctly and you can copy it. I think empathy does in ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals not consider the [Colors:Selection] BackgroundNormal=67,172,232 but stays with [Colors:View] BackgroundNormal=255,255,255 As a "workaround" you can change [Colors:View] BackgroundNormal to something different than white, but then your complete desktop is changing ... ** Affects: empathy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1059767 Title: Empathy wrong background color selection in kubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/1059767/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 789251] Re: okular displays pushpin over embedded video
With a right click on the embedded movie -> Properties: A new window "File Attachment Properties" is opened. This window is equal between both ubuntu versions, but unfortunately not accessible. ** Attachment added: "maverick screenshot with PushPin" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poppler/+bug/789251/+attachment/2144927/+files/okular_poppler_file_attachment_symbol_maverick.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to poppler in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/789251 Title: okular displays pushpin over embedded video -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 789251] [NEW] okular displays pushpin over embedded video
Public bug reported: Since ubuntu maverick okular displays pushpin over an embedded video. This is the test file: http://pages.uoregon.edu/noeckel/computernotes/movieExample/movie.pdf This problem seems not to come from okular itself, bit from a newer version of poppler. The crucial change was here: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/commit/?h=poppler-0.16&id=82954ea5f8ba880276328765f104690a05adbd9e It would be nice if one could access the options (at the moment they are greyed out) in the widget in order to disable this "functionality". ** Affects: poppler (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to poppler in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/789251 Title: okular displays pushpin over embedded video -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
