[Bug 1184720] Re: Nautilus does not properly navigate symbolic links

2014-02-27 Thread Péter Trombitás
For me this seems that gnome devs don't really care (as usual). I guess if we
want this bug to be solved in ubuntu, we have to do it ourselves...
I personally start to think that the ones who develop nautilus don't even use
it on a daily basis. Because these kinds of bugs won't come up on any kind of
unit testing. It is just an annoying 'feature' that you discover when you use a
program every day.

[Bug 1205769] Re: Keyboard shortcut dialog hangs when backspacing

2013-09-01 Thread Péter Trombitás
Also having this issue with:
 *** 2.8.6-0precise1~ppa 0
500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/otto-kesselgulasch/gimp/ubuntu/
precise/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Ubuntu 12.04.

Strangely, it happens only when the length of the string decreases to
anything under 3. No matter if I use delete instead of backspace.

[Bug 938122] [NEW] Nautilus crashes on login and can't start it again

2012-02-21 Thread Péter Trombitás
Public bug reported:

After logging in, nautilus crashed.
Conky was running, and I was trying to move a file on the desktop to another
place.

When I try to launch nautilus from the terminal, I get the following
output:

trombipeti@trombipeti-Precise-usb:~$ nautilus
Initializing nautilus-gdu extension
Initializing nautilus-open-terminal extension
Initializing nautilus-dropbox 0.7.1
GLib (gthread-posix.c): Unexpected error from C library during 'Érvénytelen
argumentum': pthread_cond_timedwait. Aborting.
Félbeszakítva (core készült)

'Érvénytelen argumentum' means invalid argument, 'Félbeszakítva' means
aborted, 'core készült' means sth like core was created, don't know
exactly.

[Bug 796076] Re: When run as root [gksudo gedit whatever] gedit tries to open a 2nd 'untitled document 1'

2011-12-25 Thread Péter Trombitás
I have the same problem here on Ubuntu 11.10, quite annoying.
Does anybody know where can I find the root's config file for gedit? I'm sure
that causes the problem, because if I run sudo gedit, the problem doesn't
occur. However, starting graphical programs with sudo uses the user's config
file, not the root's. (therefore should be avoided).

[Bug 781239] [NEW] Nautilus sometimes chrases when I click on Burn to disk in the right-click menu of a .iso image

2011-05-11 Thread Péter Trombitás
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Sometimes, when I try to burn a .iso image to disk (right click on image - burn
to disc...), it causes nautilus to crash. In other cases, it just works fine.
I'm using Ubuntu Natty 11.04. Nautilus is the 1:2.32.2.1-0ubuntu13 version as
far as I know ('apt-cache policy nautilus' gives this).
Hope I could help!
