[Bug 1184720] Re: Nautilus does not properly navigate symbolic links
For me this seems that gnome devs don't really care (as usual). I guess if we want this bug to be solved in ubuntu, we have to do it ourselves... I personally start to think that the ones who develop nautilus don't even use it on a daily basis. Because these kinds of bugs won't come up on any kind of unit testing. It is just an annoying 'feature' that you discover when you use a program every day. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1184720 Title: Nautilus does not properly navigate symbolic links To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/1184720/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Public bug reported: After logging in, nautilus crashed. Conky was running, and I was trying to move a file on the desktop to another place. [Bug 796076] Re: When run as root [gksudo gedit whatever] gedit tries to open a 2nd 'untitled document 1'
I have the same problem here on Ubuntu 11.10, quite annoying. Does anybody know where can I find the root's config file for gedit? I'm sure that causes the problem, because if I run sudo gedit, the problem doesn't occur. However, starting graphical programs with sudo uses the user's config file, not the root's. (therefore should be avoided). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/796076 Title: When run as root [gksudo gedit whatever] gedit tries to open a 2nd 'untitled document 1' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gedit/+bug/796076/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 781239] [NEW] Nautilus sometimes chrases when I click on Burn to disk in the right-click menu of a .iso image
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus Sometimes, when I try to burn a .iso image to disk (right click on image - burn to disc...), it causes nautilus to crash. In other cases, it just works fine. I'm using Ubuntu Natty 11.04. Nautilus is the 1:2.32.2.1-0ubuntu13 version as far as I know ('apt-cache policy nautilus' gives this). Hope I could help!
