When the system starts to boot up see if you can get into a terminal by
typing ALT_CTRL_T and type the following command (you have to be
connected to the internet)

sudo apt-get upgrade; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade;

This should install any updates that you don't have. Then reboot and see

[Bug 862537] [NEW] Resolution incorrect on resize

2011-09-29 Thread Paul Stewart
Public bug reported:

1. Open the remote desktop viewer and connect to a remote system.
2. Make the window full-screen by clicking on the fullscreen mode button
3. Click the fullscreen button again to allow resizing of the window
4. Resize the remote desktop window to about 2/3 of the available screen space.
5. Click the size-to-fit button to make the remote desktop resize.
6. Then click on the full-screen button again

Expected result = screen resizes and the screen resolution is correct and clear
Actual result = the resolution seem to stay the same as when the window was
smaller and just magnified, so the image is fuzzy.

To remedy it I have to click the full-screen button back to the 2/3
size, then click on the 'fit to screen' button and then again click the
full-screen button.

there are no rabbitVCS menu items displayed.

The steps I take to reproduce this bug:

[Bug 797955] [NEW] Evolution Import Assistant Main Label Truncated

2011-06-15 Thread Paul Stewart
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Evolution Mail application
2. Select from Menu File-Import. The Evolution Import Assistant dialogue box
appears.

Expected Behaviour = Main label states 'Evolution Import Assistant'
Actual Behaviour = Main label states 'ution Import Assistant'

I assume that the main label length is truncating the full text.
