[Bug 2009893] Re: gnome-control-center online-accounts nextcloud handling crashes when changing options
It wasn't a crash. The nextcloud options dialog locks up when changing options, and the wrong server accounts are added when using multiple nextcloud accounts for browsing remote files. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2009893 Title: gnome-control-center online-accounts nextcloud handling crashes when changing options To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/2009893/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 2009893] Re: gnome-control-center online-accounts nextcloud handling crashes when changing options

[Bug 2009893] [NEW] gnome-control-center online-accounts nextcloud handling crashes when changing options
Public bug reported: I added 3 nextcloud accounts via the "online accounts" option in gnome- control-center. If you click on any of the added nextcloud accounts and attempt to change any of the three options [Calendar, Contacts, Files] in the pop- up dialog window, the dialog becomes unresponsive and must be force- closed with xkill. Furthermore, if I select the 'files' option on the three different nextcloud accounts, gnome-files duly adds three remote drives, but unfortunately it adds the first account from 'online accounts' three times. The expected behaviour is to be able to mount and browse the files in each of the nextcloud accounts, not have three identical mount points repeated. [Bug 641494] [NEW] Settings in .gtkrc-2.0 not honoured in evolution's mail composition window
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I am setting up a computer for a visually impaired user who has trouble seeing the caret/cursor in its default setting. I created the file .gtkrc-2.0 in the home directory and filled it in with the following text: style custom { GtkEntry::cursor_aspect_ratio = 0.9 GtkTextView::cursor_aspect_ratio = 0.9 EelEditableLabel::cursor_aspect_ratio = 0.9 GtkWidget::cursor_aspect_ratio = 0.9 } widget class * style custom This had the effect of making the caret/cursor visible everywhere in Gnome, and in most fields of Evolution, however, in the mail composition window the cursor settings are not honored. This, unfortunately, has the effect of making Evolution completely unusable for this person, so I will have to search for alternatives, perhaps Thunderbird. [Bug 77010] Re: Overuse of system beep without volume control
Just to add my two cents: although this has been already mentioned in comment 83 I'd like to add that to mute the PC Beep, just select it with the arrow keys and press 'm'. Simply setting the volume bars to 0 is *not* enough! This completely solved the issue for me in Lucid on a Dell XPS M1530.
