Same here - often after login and the desktop and everything is loaded,
Ubuntu crashes and goes back to the login screen. When I login again I
get the Crash Report popup where I can send the problem report. And all
Gnome Extensions are turned off.

Public bug reported: I have been using Ubuntu for quite sometime and I've always seen the context menu Send to... where a dialog pops up showing all the places I could send my file to. But, after upgrading to 14.04, I noticed that the context menu had changed and it now has Email... in its place. I don't use that menu much but it is annoying and confusing. If I were to send a file to a contact from empathy, I wouldn't be emailing it, I would just be sending it. Public bug reported: Huawei broadband modem fails to connect to Tigo, Honduras, after the most recent Ocelot update (Sep. 3.2011). 3.0.0.9 Kernel. Ocelot finds and recognises the modem, and dials, but it just fails to connect to the Internet service. I'm back in Natty now and I'm connecting fine. Also, it was connecting without issue (in Ocelot) 10 minutes ago before the upgrade. The update log is attached. Any thoughts? The image you attached is of the client, what we need is a gui for the server to initiate a reverse connection. In other words: a way for grandma to click somewhere and say connect to my grandson ;) I suppose that would mean some new menu option that opens a gui which lets the user start a reverse connection. Yes we would need something like you said, or more like the x11vnc way: vino -connect test.dyndns.net:5500 At least we need a command line, so we can easily add a shortcut menu item. But for grandma a gui in the line of what vino/vinagre provides would be best. Hello I had the same problem. After going to system-power management-general, I deactivated the use sound to notify etc.. and it worked perfectly, without even giving an error message in text mode. Have finally managed to solve that for myself. Have you checked /etc/hosts. With hardy, the initial entry was something like: 127.0.0.1 localhost 127.0.1.1 aaa.bbb.com when it should be 127.0.0.1 localhost 127.0.1.1 aaa.bbb.com name of machine, e.g. ubuntu -- [users-admin] Unlock - Could not authenticate.
