[Bug 1623298] [NEW] File roller cannot rename a file inside a .zip file, also cannot delete files in it
Public bug reported: File Roller 3.16.5, running on Ubuntu 16.4.1 LTS 64-bit When trying to rename a file in a zip-archive, FR shows a message "An error occurred while renaming the files." When trying to delete a file (or group of files): "An error occurred while deleting files from the archive." In both cases, the zip file is unchanged as a result. As a workaround (and also a way to confirm that the zip file itself is not damaged), I use WinZip running on Wine. ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to file-roller in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1623298 Title: File roller cannot rename a file inside a .zip file, also cannot delete files in it To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-roller/+bug/1623298/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 441905] Re: strange behaivor by clicking buttons
I just updated my Dell Latitude D600 from Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 a couple days ago, and this problem has manifested. Clicks, while they do affect the visual state of buttons, etc., aren't acted on until I move the mouse. This also happens on links in firefox (3.5.4), and even sometimes when I hit Enter on the keyboard to activate an 'OK' button (noticed while playing nethack, tile mode, in wine). None of these problems were experienced in 9.0.4. -- strange behaivor by clicking buttons https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/441905 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
