[Bug 618836] Re: if resize option is set videos are opened at 2:1 not 1:1

2010-09-03 Thread Reed Lipman
I'm having the same issue, but apparently this comes from upstream. Kind
of a bummer because I generally play the video in a corner while I'm
working on something else.

totem (2.31.6-0ubuntu1) maverick; urgency=low

  * New upstream version:
- Add support for Web-M to browser, movie player, and YouTube plugin
Movie Player:
- Add deinterlacing support, automatically used for interlaced content
- Do not block when loading playlists
- Remove libunique dependency
- Make auto-resize use half-scale or 2x if the player would fit on the
  screen
- Make screensaver preference clearer
- Support running with RGBA (semi-transparent) GTK+ themes
Plugins:
- Update for YouTube website changes
Browser plugin:
- Fix running browser plugin in non-GTK+ front-ends
- VLC-compatible browser plugin:
- Support input.time and input.length property
- Support togglePause function
- Support toolbar plugin argument
  * debian/control.in:
- updated the build requirements to match the configure
  * debian/patches/80_webm.patch,
debian/patches/81_mpegts.patch,
debian/patches/91_git_correct_rgba_use.patch:
- the changes are in the new version

[Bug 513852] [NEW] mouse jumps to top left corner when using media keys

2010-01-28 Thread Reed Lipman
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

When I press one of my keyboard's media keys, the mouse jumps to the
upper left corner of the screen when I start to move it after pressing
the button. This happens with the play, pause, stop, previous track,
next track, mute, and eject buttons. The mouse doesn't jump if I use the
non-media keyboard shortcuts or click on the buttons.

My keyboard layout is Logitech Cordless Desktop LX-300 as reported by
System-Preferences-Keyboard. This has only started happening since
lucid.

Keybinds for these keys (from System-Preferences-Keyboard Shortcuts)
Volume mute: XF86AudioMute
Play (or play/pause): XF86AudioPlay
Stop playback: XF86AudioStop
Previous Track: XF86AudioPrev
Next Track: XF86AudioNext
Eject: XF86Eject
