Re: [Bug 80856] Re: F-Spot as default for importing photos
I also like F-spot better and think it is a better default, although maybe the dependency on Mono makes it too big to fit on the single Live/Install CD. F-spot is already included on the CD, since Edgy I think. Its utility is diminished, however, because it is not the default app for importing photos in Gnome. I don't see the point of it taking up space on the CD if it isn't the default, since Ubuntu is supposed to include only one best of breed program for each task. -- F-Spot as default for importing photos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/80856 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gthumb in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 49567] Re: list view doesn't expand subfolder when clicking on arrow if entry is selected
I can confirm this bug on the Feisty beta. It doesn't work most of the time, but sometimes it does. This only happens in list view (in either browser or spatial mode) but not in other trees (like the one in the browser view side pane). One way of reliably triggering it is to select a subdirectory, and slowly slide your mouse towards the extender from the right until it highlights. The extender is now unresponsive to clicks, indicating a mismatch between the region where it highlights itself and where it responds to clicks. However, very often it fails to respond even when clicked squarely on the arrow. Usually it'll start responding again after a lot of retries and moving the mouse around. All this is seen only on selected entries. Other entries work perfectly every time. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed = Confirmed -- list view doesn't expand subfolder when clicking on arrow if entry is selected https://launchpad.net/bugs/49567 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 37861] Re: ipod reformated (to partition) cause that gtkpod open twice
I can confirm this bug. The iPod ships with two partitions, sda1 (firmware) and sda2 (vfat, possibly hfs+). I resized sda2 and added another ext2 partition sda3 for iPodLinux. HAL treats both sda2 and sda3 as iPod devices, when in fact it should treat sda3 as a normal USB drive (i.e. g-v-m should start Nautilus, not Rhythmbox for it.) The fix seems to be simple -- partitions other than the second on an iPod should not be treated as belonging to a music player.
