[Bug 1326939] [NEW] No send file button in bluetooth menu when connected to a mac
Public bug reported: When I want to send a file to a Mac via bluetooth in Ubuntu 14.04 (Gnome), I have to type "bluetooth-sendto" in a terminal in order to be able to browse a file and send it. When I am connected to an Android Smartphone (in my tests Galaxy Note II and Note III), I see a button "Send File" in the right-hand corner in the bluetooth menu in Gnome 3.10. I think it is a bug that there is no button provided to the Mac in the same menu. [Bug 1326871] [NEW] nautilus sendto does not offer send via bluettooth anymore
Public bug reported: After Ubuntu 14.04 came out, today I tried to send data via bluetooth to a paired Mac for the first the time by right-clicking on a picture in Nautilus. It offers to send only data via bluetooth obex (which is, I believe, only useful for cellphones). I did no manage to find any fix for that missing feature which exist in previous Ubuntu version. How can I get the back the functionality of sending data via nautilus sendto? I can confirm this bug. I cannot send a file via nautilus-sendto. If blueman is installed, sendto does not function at all.
