[Bug 528251] Re: MySpace accounts in empathy listed as New (null) account
I just tested this last night. Seems that Empathy now changes "New account" to your screen name/login id/etc. upon account setup completion. During the MySpace account setup, it did say "New myspace account". [Bug 528651] [NEW] Empathy does not import Facebook Chat's Other Friends list into a group
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy When adding a Facebook Chat account, any friends who are not in a custom list (Other Friends) do not get placed into a chat group in Empathy. This is inconstant, since all of the other protocols (that I have used anyways) place friends into groups. This also prevents you from being able to minimize non-sorted friends. [Bug 436357] Re: New Download Directory Should Be Renamed to Downloads
Suggested by SNuxoll ** Description changed: To keep it consistent with the other default directories, the new "Download" directory should be renamed to "Downloads". We have Documents, Pictures, and Videos. Download (non-plural) seems very out of place and is just noticeable enough to be annoying. This could be considered a "Paper Cut". This also will prevent duplicate directories since many programs, especially Firefox, default to "Downloads" when saving a file. - The questions we need answered are: Who or what created this directory? + The questions we need answered are, who or what created this directory? Is it there just to be there or did a package/application create it? Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel When I have Firefox or another window focused and then click on the date/time on gnome-panel, the calendar appears but is hidden behind the focused window.
