[Bug 410407] Re: Flash does not work correctly [READ DESCRIPTION]
as for a workaround for opera: it basically works the same as with firefox (exporting GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1). The file to do this is /usr/lib/opera/operapluginwrapper. I added it right before the "exec" (last line) and that seems to work. So, the end of the file looks like this now: export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1; exec "$wrapper" "$@" I also tried to export this when executing opera through a script in ~/bin/opera, but that didn't work (I still use the script to add the "-systemstyle" property though for my qt4 build ;)) -- Flash does not work correctly [READ DESCRIPTION] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410407 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 410407] Re: Flash does not work correctly [READ DESCRIPTION]
as far as opera is concerned I can say that it is related to if the plugin has focus or not. if the plugin doesn't have focus the click is getting through, if the plugin has focus they don't. this results in a behaviour like this: "first click works(1)" -> "subsequent clicks dont(2)" -> "click outside plugin(3)" -> repeat My speculations about what happens: (1): When you click on the plugin area the click gets registered by the browser which activates the plugin and forwards the click to it via the API. (2): the clicks are directly handled by the plugin -> something bad is happening here (3): when you click outside the plugin area you take away the focus from it and thus also rip it off the mouse/keyboard control -> subsequent clicks are again registered by the browser As I said these are speculations as I don't have the slightest clue about how the plugin API really works, but it would explain the behavior that I see here. -- Flash does not work correctly [READ DESCRIPTION] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410407 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 386150] Re: Nautilus file browser toolbar is complicated, redundant, and ugly
imo too much "streamlining" (moving the stuff to one toolbar) could get bad for usability. 1) esp with the current implementation of the breadcrumb-toolbar it just looks like another bunch of buttuns (a bunch of buttons should first be eliminated) 2) Merging the stop/reload button is a good proposal 3) "Computer" should show up in side bar 4) imo we should get some layout like this [back] [forward] [up] [reload/stop] [ url-bar in normal text-form][ search-field ] and zoom and view could be pushed to the right side of the status bar (like in opera) -- Nautilus file browser toolbar is complicated, redundant, and ugly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/386150 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 249951] Re: Rhythmbox doesn't play some ogg files or stops playing them.
Hi Pedro, 2 files that won't play in Rhythmbox do play with the gst-launch-0.10 command. [Bug 249951] [NEW] Rhythmbox doesn't play some ogg files or stops playing them.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox After extracting original Audio CD's in Linux (Sound Juicer) or Windows (CDex) to Ogg files using the Xiph.org codec Rhythmbox won't play the song or stops playing the song. When it stops playing the song, sliding the time bar further won't help. I've tried to add the files again in Rhythmbox. When clicking the play button or when doubleclicking, the play button won't change to a pause button. There's no error message. Other sound programs do play the songs. I've had this problem with a few songs of different cd's. [Bug 69167] highscore list stays empty.
Public bug reported: Dear madam/sir, It sounds kinda dull, but a bug is a bug :) Mahjongg doesn't remember highscores when you finish a game, the list stays empty. I experienced the bug in the Edgy Eft beta and final. With kind regards, Sven Gertsen Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'gnome- mahjongg'; however, that package was not published in Ubuntu. ** Affects: gnome-games (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- highscore list stays empty. https://launchpad.net/bugs/69167 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
