[Bug 841409] Re: GEdit is the only choice as Calendar application in Default Applications dialog

2013-08-21 Thread Thomas C.
Its just easy to add thunderbird to the default calendar client:

Edit /usr/share/applications/thunderbird.desktop
and add text/calendar;text/x-vcard; to MimeType

at least run: update-desktop-database -q

Now you see Thunderbird in the Default Applications dialog.

Source: http://askubuntu.com/a/305904/10756

Pls include this in Ubuntu Dist Packages ;)

why is this bug marked as invalid?

There is an menu-option which you can be used - but the result is not
the expected

so it is a valid bug!

[Bug 327082] Re: Totem crashes on loading files

2009-03-22 Thread Thomas C.
ok.. i tried to create a backtrace, but it is not working, while totem
exit without a real crash.

so I get only this output:

Program exited with code 01.
(gdb) backtrace full
No stack.
(gdb) info registers
The program has no registers now.
(gdb) hread apply all backtrace
Undefined command: "hread". Try "help".
(gdb) thread apply all backtrace
No registers.

I also started with the --sync option, but the result are the same.

I search the net and found a forum topic on which somebod has the same
problem. He deactivated compiz, so I tried the same, and TADA - totem
doesn't crash.

But what is the Bug? How we can debug it? And more imported, how we can
fix it?
