[Bug 1298374] [NEW] Bluetooth applet doesn't remember state
Public bug reported: If I disable bluetooth from the applet, reboot and then check the state, it is enabled. So the applet fails to make the change permanent, as you expect it to do. Other settings are usually permanent across reboots so I can't see why this settings shouldn't be. It saves battery to only turn it on if you need it on a laptop. Doing a shutdown instead of suspend shows a message like attached file, that some application inhibits the shutdown. So maybe the same for suspend? So this should be notified to the user. Public bug reported: My computer suspends after leaving it for 1 hour. When using it again, it resumes and I have to login to unlock. Then right after login, the screen goes black and I'm at the logon prompt again. Settings are both suspend & turn screen off after 1 hour. Note! This is present in Maverick 10.10 even with new bookmarks. I don't recall it being like this in older releases though (9.10). Just after you have created a bookmark it has the right name but after a reboot it's just called 'smb'. After using a bookmark it gets renamed to the correct value. This was using the Basic mode. I just tested Advanced and Financial with the same result. The problem seems to be that it doesn't print the decimal point. Since you can do 3590 / 12 and then * 12 and get 3590 again it obviously has the right numers, it just presents them wrong. Btw, 2590/12 isn't exactly 299 but 299,16667. Now my clock has stopped. I have also lost all my icons in the notification area. They are still there, I can get mouseover tooltips and clicking on them works. If I open the clock applet the current time is running. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center I have a Lenovo T61 (1024x768) + 20" Wide-screen Samsung LCD connected via docking station. Both displays have 1024x768. If I open gnome-display-preferences I uncheck mirror screens, drag the 14" laptop LCD to the right of the bigger Samsung, click the Samsung and change resolution to 1650x1080. Nothing happens when I press apply. Test case 1: From Nautilus, I click the share which is saved to a bookmark. Then I go into one directory and two more steps up the hierarchy. Time from start to completion: 40 seconds Test case 2: With smbclient, connect to the share, issue 'ls', enter a directory, issue 'ls, then go two more steps up the hierarchy (ls'ing all the way). Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs I would like to open a new bug with the same issue as bug #186461, browsing samba shares is painfully slow. Ok, I will do that. I also noted now that when I send a invite from Evolution via Exchange to a person with Evolution and IMAP the invite is OK in that direction. When that person accepts and sends a reply, that message isn't possible to receive. I collect my Exchange email via IMAP. I got this message from the Exchange server in my Inbox: Exchange 2007 IMAP4 server failed to retrieve the following message: Subject: "Accepted: Meeting Title" From: "Some Person" ("[EMAIL PROTECTED]") Sent Date: 2008-08-07 22:01:43 The message could not be retrieved using the IMAP4 protocol. The message has not been deleted and may be accessible using either Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. You can also try contacting the original sender of the message to find out about the contents of the message. The patch has solved one problem and left another remaining. Before it chose the wrong person if you had two persons matching the same criteria and you selected the latter of the two.
