Yes, it is. This is by design, as I pointed out. It's in 2.0.3-0ubuntu5 as well as in snapshot 20070208-01-feisty.1 from snapshots.ekiga.net. It goes as far as when starting ekiga when I have no network connection for it being unfunctional until restarted (even trying to register my account by hand doesn't work, it just always says "registration failed" presumably because it doesn't have the socket to use). -- Port listeningn / registration broken (by design) https://launchpad.net/bugs/69525 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 63715] Re: Crash when opening Exchange inbox
Well, I installed debug versions of evolution-exchange-server, libc6-i686 and others, and got the attached backtrace by hand. I'm really not sure if this is the same, because it didn't seem to crash instantaneously with the new packages. (At least this one doesn't seem to be an evolution-exchange bug.) ** Attachment added: "bt" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4704799/ees.txt -- Crash when opening Exchange inbox https://launchpad.net/bugs/63715 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 63715] Re: Crash when opening Exchange inbox
I'm running the latest edgy. I've installed evolution-dbg and evolution-data-server-dbg. What's the easiest way to get the exchange backend with debug symbols? Hand-compile from source? It's unusable just 'cos I use only exchange, sorry for being ambiguous. -- Crash when opening Exchange inbox https://launchpad.net/bugs/63715 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 63715] Crash when opening Exchange inbox
Public bug reported: I've reported numerous crashes in the past in the Exchange backend, and I'm not sure if this is another one or not. Simply, opening my inbox on an Exchange server crashes evolution- exchange-backend immediately. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Crash when opening Exchange inbox https://launchpad.net/bugs/63715 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 60810] Re: Importing MP3s tries to create messed up filename, crashes
I'm terribly sorry, but I just installed debug symbols and tried importing again, and got no error. I'm not sure if a new version of sound-juicer was upgraded during my regular APT upgrades, but I haven't stumbled into the bug again. On my account, you may close this, and I'll create a new raport if the error duplicates. -- Importing MP3s tries to create messed up filename, crashes https://launchpad.net/bugs/60810 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 60810] Importing MP3s tries to create messed up filename, crashes
Public bug reported: I was trying to import my Frank Zappa CD in MP3. Sound juicer somehow messes up the filename, even though the artist and disc name show up OK without any garbage. The attempted directory name is full of garbage like pipes, spaces and random numbers. After failure of the attempt to open the first file, sound juicer gives an error on the filename, then on the ripping process, and then crashes.
