[Bug 1978838] Re: Couldn't connect to accessibility bus

2022-07-04 Thread Tushar
Yes, I edited that file, and that caused the error. Sorry for the
inconvenience.

Now, I can confirm that this is a successful fix. Thanks, Sebastien.

2022-07-03 Thread Tushar
Hello, Sebastien.
Adding evince 42.3-0ubuntu2 from jammy-proposed does not solve this issue. I am
still getting "dbind-WARNING **: [XX:XX:XX.XXX]: Couldn't connect to
accessibility bus: Failed to connect to socket /run/user/[UID]/at-spi/bus:

[Bug 1969896] Re: Evince Document Viewer(42.0) does not remember last page in 22.04 and opens in a tiny window when launched

2022-06-13 Thread Tushar
This may be an Ubuntu kernel problem. I have upgraded my kernel from
5.15.0.37.39 to 5.15.1-051501.202111061036 without changing anything
else, and the mentioned problem with Evince has gone away.

But this problem resurfaces after changing back to the previous kernel
5.15.0.37.39 from grub during boot. So, some changes from kernel
5.15.0.37.39 to 5.15.1-051501.202111061036 solve this problem.

Can anybody confirm this?

Re: [Bug 1726160] Re: On login, display rotates to wrong orientation [HP Pavilion]

2017-10-23 Thread Tushar Semwal
Everytime I reboot, it rotates anticlockwise 90 and sometimes randomly it
switches to inverted screen. I tried using xandr to correct the rotation,
but nothing worked.

left and back to the top of the screen after closing the lid, letting it
suspend itself, then reopening the lid.

Maybe you can refer to this topic, which might help you...
